In winter, you want warmth and comfort, and one of the most comfortable types of clothing that can give you maximum comfort on cold days is a poncho. The wardrobe detail, once popular among South American Indians, became a real highlight in the wardrobe of a modern fashionista. Today we want to tell you how to knit a stylish and cozy poncho in a couple of hours.
The size of our poncho - 46-48, length - 72 cm
The required amount of yarn - 800 grams
Patterns - seamy surface and "harnesses"
Knitting poncho starts from the bottom of its front side, towards the hood. After the neck knitting goes back. Divide the knitting into 2 parts and knit the front side and the back to the shoulder level separately, then tie the neck of the back, put the left and right side on one needle and knit the back from one coil.
Knitting front side:
Type 44 loops, add 6 loops on each side of the 6th pattern on each side of the pattern. After 39 rows, start knitting a “gum” around the edges of the poncho. On the 65th row start to knit the neck.
The back is knitted from top to bottom with additions to 1 loop on both sides of the pattern “harness” every 6 rows.
Dial 45 loops. In order to tie the hood, it is necessary to alternate between the front and back loops 2 times (5 loops each). Knit the middle part of the canvas as well as knit the heel in a sock. Tie 14 loops, connecting all parts of the hood together and diminishing 2 loops every 6 rows. Sew the hood to the cape and make 2 chains of 1 meter each. Lace the chains on the sides of the poncho.
