Original and self-sufficient looks like a huge elegant ball, assembled from cones, spruce twigs and Christmas tinsel. Spectacular decoration can be used in different ways. Suspended from the ceiling, it will replace the music of the wind, on the front door will be a beater. Replace this crafts can and New Year's bouquet.

To create a Christmas decorative ball you will need:

  • polystyrene sphere;
  • glue gun;
  • a handful of cones;
  • decorative tape;
  • several spruce twigs;
  • sprigs with dry berries or their imitation of beads and wire.

First we take the ball and tie it with a ribbon, at the same time leaving a loop of the desired length for the suspension. We do not cut the ends, but fix them; later they can be tied with a bow or hidden. The length of the tape, as well as the number of cones, directly depends on the size of the foam sphere.

Preparing cones. If the cones with white tips could not be found, you can varnish or glitter. Glue each of the cones to the sphere in a circle. In the process, gaps will be formed. It's not scary, they will fill up a little later.

When the sphere is completely covered with cones, proceed to the insertion of spruce and berry twigs. In spruce twigs we clean the tips and just pierce the foam with them, inserting between the cones. As a rule, the branches with berries become brittle by winter. It is better to replace them with artificial ones made of wire or to plant beads on young branches of fruit trees.

If desired, the junction of the branches can be further secured with glue.

Once all the spaces are filled with twigs, the decoration is ready.

Optionally, the suspension composition can be supplemented with rain, foam foam or serpentine.

By the same principle, you can create decorative pendants from other materials.
