Quick, unusual and delicious breakfast muffins

If the usual omelet is boring, we offer an unusual, but very tasty and nutritious breakfast - cheese muffins with an egg inside. The ingredients for the recipe are variable: for example, instead of cheese "cheddar" you can take any other, instead of bacon - chopped sausage, etc.

For muffins, prepare the following ingredients:

  • 350 grams of flour;
  • 1/2 Art. l baking powder;
  • 1 tsp salts;
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder;
  • 225 ml of milk (1 cup);
  • 1 raw egg;
  • 115 grams of fat sour cream (from 20%);
  • 4 tbsp. l melted butter;
  • 4 chopped green onion feathers;
  • 10 strips of fried bacon;
  • 225 g cheddar cheese;
  • 12 hard-boiled eggs.

Start cooking muffins:

1. In a bowl, mix all the dry ingredients: flour, baking powder, salt, onion powder. In a separate container, mix the liquid ingredients: milk, sour cream, butter, raw egg. Combine with the flour mixture, mix thoroughly.

2. Add green onions, bacon, cheese, mix. The dough should be very thick and not dry.

3. Put 1 tbsp in the greased form. l the dough, put a boiled egg on top, close another 1 tbsp. l test.

4. You can additionally sprinkle muffins on top with grated cheese and chopped green onions. Send to the oven, heated to 190 degrees, for 25-35 minutes (be guided in the oven, bake the muffins to a “dry stick”).
